Company introduction The Delegations of German Industry and Commerce in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taiwan represent the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in Greater China and are part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK). On behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany, they represent the overall economic interests of Germany abroad.
The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Shanghai works closely together with the German Chamber of Commerce in China Shanghai (GCC) and the German Industry & Commerce Shanghai (GIC) – together, they are the overall platform for Sino-German trade and industry promotion in the Greater Shanghai region and provide support to German enterprises and their local partners.
Internship description For a period of 3-6 months. We offer you the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, dynamic team in a
challenging, international environment with plenty of room for your own ideas and creativity.
Internship: Research and Office Support
Responsibilities:
Diverse research activities and analysis of topics in regards to Sino-German business relations
Supporting the Management Office in daily correspondence, travel arrangements and preparation of presentations
Occasionally preparing meetings, conferences and events
Carrying out other projects as necessary

Qualifications
Mandatory: Student at a Chinese University (X Visa) with the permission of the university to carry out an “off campus internship
Fluent in both oral & written English and German (good Chinese skills)
MS Office 365 proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint etc)
